The response
I am a Curtis Yarvin enjoyer, truly. The man is very intelligent, extremely well read, and I rarely disagree with his takes. A Brown University graduate (that is ivy league, which still carries a fair amount of prestige), computer science grad school drop out that probably could have been whatever he wanted to be; he did create Urbit, a decentralized peer-to peer server platform. He is influential in far right wing circles, for sure. Some not so much, especially the NS circles, due to his ancestry, but he did POAST a photo of his newborn at an Orthodox church, so that is very cool for sure. Maybe his new bride is Orthodox and is not putting up with any of his poop and she is pushing him in the right direction to get sorted out. If so, God bless the new Mrs. Yarvin. I am a strong Orthodox Church respecter, very much so.
The previous Blaqpillepoast, while I find it factual (for the time being), has been derided as demoralizing, purposefully at that. Hard to say that is isn’t demoralizing, albeit his honest take. Hard not to take the blaqpille given the state of things, with another war for Israel, the economic situation, no mass deportations, Emperor Trump being himself and so on.
However…
Charls Carroll, who is on The Palace program/podcast/whatever is one of my favorite people, truly. He denies all history, a line I have started to use for the purposes of agitation. Charls does it because he in fact denies all history. He is a gem, and he poasted a response to Curtis and his take, which I love:
“Come, die with us!” Now THAT is a real good take, and the correct one. Curtis really ought to consider that. The man has a wife and four kids. And there is nowhere else to run, this is it.
Come, die with us…. but you’re not leaving.
Aye, what a great take. The Helm’s Deep take. The Minas Tirith take. Colors nailed to mast, spit on the hands and a racking of the round. Like Cortez scuttling his ships. A Thermopylae take, even. Emperor Constantine XI refusing to surrender Constantinople to the turkish orcs & refusing to abandon the city. “The city has fallen, and I am still alive!” as the emperor charged the turkish horde.
”A sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises! Ride now, ride now, ride! Ride for ruin and the world's ending! DEATH!”
There is no way back. Come, die with us. Never give up, never surrender.
God be with you all.
